USD Modular Robotics Research Lab

After a fantastic summer school in August, we have been working very hard to get all the material collected that the students generated and displayed at http://locomorph.eu/home/summerschool.

We feel the results was very good and much more than we had hoped for, and we would like to thank all the students for there great work and enthusiasm during the summer school.

The paper "Systematic, Bottom-Up Robot Design Using a Bio-mechanical Experimental Methodology" received the "Highly Commended - Innovation Award 2012 - For practical innovation in the field of robotics" at the 15th international conference on Climbing and Walking Robot 2012, Baltimore, USA.

The Robotic Construction Kit - LocoKit is displayed at an exhibition at the international conference "Living Machines 2012" on Biomimetics and Biohybrid systems in Barcelona from 10-12 July 2012.
